After receiving an epidural during the birth of her son, our client suffered a hematoma on her spinal cord. She went into emergency surgery to remove the blood clot and the surgeon told her she would never walk again.

“This is a part of my story I rarely share, but if it can help one person I am happy to do so. This video speaks for itself but I wanted to give you a little background about my personal struggle.
Although everything was telling us we needed to take legal action, I was still afraid what people might think about me. It kind of carries a dark cloud in my mind. I normally don’t care what others think of me because truthfully that’s none of my business, but this was different to me.
It went against everything I believed and I didn’t want the label of suing anyone. I wholeheartedly believe that people make mistakes and accidents happen. But on a side note I also didn’t think that my family should have to endure all the stress of medical bills for someone else’s mistakes, along with a future filled with permanent damage.
It was a very hard decision to make. It is also one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. I stayed true to myself by just remaining honest, shared my story and let my files do the talking.
